The Product design team got presented a problem of the Bridge subscription model was going to change to allow the user to buy packages or add ons that where a bit different to the ones that already existed.
This process started off with a design sprint that allowed 5 days to research and design a solution. After the first day it was decided that we would create a Bridge marketplace that would offer all the extensions and add ons. Some of these extensions were adding the Xero integration and a couple of other features that are coming in the future.
This project was suggested by the product business team to launch it without user testing as it would be best to see if people find it easier to start paying compared to the older model. After release of the new UI Sign ups jumped up dramatically and it was found the user was choosing the highest priced plan.
